Job summary

MinIO is seeking a Field CTO to serve as a premier technical ambassador in the UK and beyond. You will bridge engineering innovation with the strategic needs of large enterprise customers, guiding AI workloads and data lakehouse architectures.

You will engage C-suite stakeholders, lead high‑level architectural conversations, and shape product requirements through direct feedback from customers. The role demands hands-on expertise in modern AI systems, data pipelines, and cloud-native

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical leadership roles with enterprise tech exposure.
• Proven customer-facing or evangelist experience with C-level audiences.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML data pipelines and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Ray, Hugging Face).
• Understanding of hardware bottlenecks in AI and how high-throughput storage solves this.

Responsibilities

• Executive advisory and evangelism to C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies.
• Architectural leadership for large-scale enterprise deployments and AI/ML pipelines integration.
• Industry thought leadership via conferences, whitepapers, and blogs on object storage and AI.
• Pre-Sales & Post-Sales strategic support with PoCs and deployments.
• Product strategy feedback loop translating customer needs into actionable requirements.
