Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking an experienced Field Care Supervisor to establish and lead a domiciliary care service across Telford and surrounding areas. You will oversee personal care and lifestyle support, ensuring person-centred delivery for residents.

Working alongside the Registered Care Manager, you will supervise Mobile Care Assistants, ensure compliance with CQC requirements, and develop care plans that promote independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory care experience in community or similar setting.
• Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification or higher; Level 3 preferred.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support growth, manage and deliver care services across the area.
• Ensure services are safe, high quality and compliant with regulations.
• Supervise and develop Mobile Care Assistants and Mobile Domestic & Lifestyle staff.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to keep records up to date.
• Deliver excellent service, gather feedback and attend development meetings.
• Report safeguarding concerns to authorities and compliance team.
• Provide short-notice cover and alternate weekend work.
• Ensure visits are clocked in/out on the careline app.
• Maintain work records and travel expense receipts.
