Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is recruiting a Field Care Supervisor to oversee domiciliary care in Carlisle & Lake District. Salary up to £29,000 DOE plus a Company Car or Car allowance. 37 hours per week with alternate weekends.

You will lead a team of Mobile Care Assistants, ensure compliant care delivery, and develop personalised care plans while promoting dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory care experience in community/field/home care.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (Level 3 preferred) or willingness to work towards it.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and compliance requirements.
• Experience completing and updating care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of elderly care and independent living for later life.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Care Manager with growth and delivery of care services in the area.
• Ensure services are safe, high quality and compliant with regulations and policies.
• Supervise and develop Mobile Care Assistants and Lifestyle Support staff, including training and appraisals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain accurate care records.
• Deliver excellent service, gather feedback, and attend development meetings.
