Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Field Care Supervisor in Worthing to lead care teams and deliver person-centred care in the community. You will support clients, supervise staff, and ensure safe, high-quality services with regular visits and assessments.

This role requires a UK driving licence, 40 hours per week, and prior supervisory experience in social care. Mileage is paid, and training up to QCF Level 5 is provided.

Qualifications

• 12 months rights to work in the UK

• Demonstrable experience in the social care sector at a supervisory level
• Well organised and self-motivated
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information to allocated clients and staff
• Monitor and check the health and well-being of clients and staff via visits, calls and care records
• Undertake assessments and re-assessments of care needs and risk management to reflect person-centred plans
• Ensure safeguarding arrangements and provide staff training and support for safe care delivery
• Conduct regular supervision and reviews to promote competency and development
• May include on-call duties and some weekend work

A day in the life of a Field Care Supervisor

As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be a main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information to allocated clients and staff . You will be responsible for monitoring and checking the health, well-being of clients and staff by using face to face visits, telephone calls and monitoring care records.

You will undertake assessments, and re-assessments of care needs and risk manage clients to ensure that their care plans reflect their needs and are person-centred.

You will ensure that arrangements are in place to safeguard clients against the risk of abuse, and ensure that staff receive appropriate training and support to deliver care safely and feel confident to highlight any potential issues .

You will conduct regular supervisions and reviews with team members to review competency and promote personal development.

The role will include some responsibility for on-call and may involve working some weekends.
