Job summary

Agincare UK is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to lead and support care teams across assigned clients. You will be the main point of contact for day-to-day guidance, monitoring client well‑being and care records through face-to-face visits, calls and documentation.

The role includes assessments, risk management, safeguarding, and regular supervision. On-call duties and some weekend work are possible. Training up to QCF Level 5 is funded, with mileage allowance and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Demonstrable experience in the social care sector at supervisory level.
• Well organised and self-motivated.
• 40 hours per week; on-call required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and guidance to allocated clients and staff via visits, calls and care records.
• Undertake assessments and reassessments of care needs and risk manage to ensure person-centred care plans.
• Safeguard clients against risk of abuse and ensure staff are trained and supported to deliver safe care.
• Conduct regular supervisions and reviews with team members to monitor competency and development.
• Role may include on-call duties and some weekend work.

A day in the life of a Field Care Supervisor

As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be a main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information to allocated clients and staff. You will be responsible for monitoring and checking the health, well-being of clients and staff by using face to face visits, telephone calls and monitoring care records.

You will undertake assessments, and re-assessments of care needs and risk manage clients to ensure that their care plans reflect their needs and are person-centred.

You will ensure that arrangements are in place to safeguard clients against the risk of abuse, and ensure that staff receive appropriate training and support to deliver care safely and feel confident to highlight any potential issues.

You will conduct regular supervisions and reviews with team members to review competency and promote personal development.

The role will include some responsibility for on-call and may involve working some weekends.
