Job summary

Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea is seeking an experienced Field Care Supervisor to support our Outstanding care team across Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea. You will mentor Care Assistants, supervise visits, and help maintain high-quality person-centred care.

The role requires strong communication, safeguarding knowledge, and a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification. The company offers training up to NVQ Level 5, CPD opportunities, and a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience in domiciliary care.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Good safeguarding and person-centred care understanding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Care Assistants in the community.
• Conduct spot checks, observations and reviews.
• Update care plans and risk assessments.
• Monitor care quality and ensure CQC compliance.
• Support customers, families and healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Participate in the on-call rota and respond to urgent care issues.
• Assist with care visits to ensure continuity of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and supervise Care Assistants in the community.

• Complete and update care plans and risk assessments.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
• Experience in domiciliary care
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable

• Previous supervisory experience
• Experience completing care assessments and reviews
• Knowledge of CQC regulationsWorking towards or holding a Level 3 qualification
