Job summary
Quickline is seeking an Installation Engineer to connect rural communities with reliable broadband. The role involves on-site installation at customer premises, liaising with clients on route and final appearance, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
A valid driving licence and DBS check are required, with FTTP/FWA knowledge a plus. You will work across Lincolnshire, engaging customers and documenting installation details for records and future support.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role; FTTP and FWA knowledge preferred.
- Comfortable working at heights and ladders.
- Customer care comes first; strong communication skills.
- Full clean driving licence and DBS check; right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high installation quality at customer premises.
- Liaise with customers on installation route and final appearance.
- Ensure a safe working environment with emphasis on Health & Safety.
- Carry out installation surveys and consider options to deliver service.
- Document installed equipment and capture photos for records.
- Provide excellent customer communications and strive to exceed expectations.
