Job summary

Quickline is seeking an Installation Engineer to connect rural communities to our superfast broadband in Grantham and surrounding areas. You’ll be out on the road with your tools, delivering high-quality on-site installs and ensuring customers understand the result.

Join a customer-focused team that values safety, practical problem-solving and clear communication. A full driving licence and DBS check are required; FTTP/FWA knowledge is a plus, and you’ll thrive in a field-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar installation role with FTTP and FWA knowledge.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
• Customer care comes naturally.
• Full driving licence and ability to pass DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high quality standard of installation at customer premises, both internal and external.
• Liaise with customers regarding installation route and final appearance.
• Manage a safe working environment with emphasis on Health & Safety at all times.
• Carry out installation surveys and consider options to deliver service.
• Document installed equipment information and capture images for records and QA processes.
• Provide excellent levels of customer communications and strive to exceed expectations.

• You have experience in a similar role - Ideally with an understanding of FTTP and FWA connections.
• You are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders is no problem for you.
• Customer care comes second nature to you.
• You have a full clean driving licence and can successfully pass a DBS check.
