KM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Childrens Home Manager / Residential Childcare (Trainer Assessor) for home/field work covering Hertfordshire with travel. Salary £32,500 - £34,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Type: Full Time, Permanent. Excellent Benefits Package, Pension, Expenses + much more.

The role involves assessing learners in Residential Childcare Apprenticeships (Levels 4 & 5), delivering training, and supporting skills development. Travel and driving license required.

Qualifications

• Must have solid occupational experience within Residential Childcare (Children's Home) at Deputy Manager level or above.
• Willing to work towards an Assessor qualification with full funding provided.
• Ideally hold a Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare.
• GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent required.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support a caseload of learners pursuing Residential Childcare Apprenticeships (Levels 4 and 5).
• Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely reviews and meetings.
• Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
• Organise and maintain learner progress documentation.
• Provide advice and motivation to learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
