Autism East Midlands is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Lead based at our Nottingham office, with travel to Nottingham, Worksop, Mansfield, Retford and surrounding areas for adult services.

You will work with individuals, families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behaviour support plans, train staff, monitor outcomes and contribute to reducing restrictive practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant qualification in PBS or similar.
• Proven experience in positive behaviour support or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of behaviour analysis and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Must have a full driver''s license, use of own car and business insurance.

Responsabilités

• Conduct assessments to understand the individual's needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and analyse behaviours and design effective interventions.
• Train and mentor staff on positive behaviour support principles and techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of positive behaviour support plans, making adjustments as needed.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in positive behaviour support.
• Use data to create and write reports that can be used to inform further interventions or support.
• Promoting the reduction of restrictive practices across the organisation.
