Job summary

The Air Ambulance Service is seeking a Patient and Family Liaison Officer to support patient and family engagement across NCAA and HEMS. This field-based role involves travel between Coventry and Nottingham and requires excellent communication and safeguarding awareness.

You'll work within the Aftercare Team, coordinating patient and family engagement, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting compassionate, professional interactions in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Education to GCSE level or equivalent in maths and English grade C or above.
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal communication by telephone, email and face to face.
• Effective time management, prioritising workloads and deadlines.
• Experience of working with patients, families, bereaved families, service users, or vulnerable individuals.
• Experience managing sensitive or emotional situations with professionalism, compassion and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Developing, coordinating and managing patient and family engagement across NCAA and HEMS.
• Support awareness raising and community engagement and inspire donor involvement.

Education
