Job summary

Incommunities is recruiting a Neighbourhood Housing Officer on a fixed-term basis to June 2029 to cover the BMDC contract. You will deliver a high-quality housing management service across Bradford, Keighley and Ilkley, with 80% of time spent in neighbourhoods.

The role involves ASB management, tenancy support, inspections and strong partnership work to improve customer outcomes. A basic DBS check is required for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with customers face to face in a housing related role.
• Experience working with customers and stakeholders to deliver improvements for communities.
• Ability to write and communicate clearly to different audiences.
• Ability to gather, record and analyse data using manual and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality housing management service to help customers live well in their home and neighbourhood.
• Co-ordinate a full range of housing services to keep neighbourhoods clean, safe and welcoming.
• Spend 80% of time out in neighbourhoods and inspect properties and tenancy records.
• Identify tenancy breaches and manage action plans to resolve issues including ASB and safeguarding referrals.
• Develop neighbourhood action plans and build relationships with local agencies and police.
