Job summary

Booker is seeking a passionate Learning & Development Partner to help colleagues learn, grow and succeed. You’ll design and deliver engaging learning experiences across Health, Safety & Legal, behavioural development and leadership learning, with field-based travel across locations and occasional evening/weekend activity.

This role is ideal for someone with L&D experience who wants to progress, bringing transferable skills from operational, retail or customer-focused backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced operational, retail, foodservice, wholesale, customer-facing or people-focused environment.
• Coaching, mentoring, training or supporting others to learn; knowledge of learning platforms is advantageous.
• Passion for helping people learn and develop.
• Confidence presenting information and facilitating discussions with groups.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
• Proactive problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify learning and development needs.
• Design, develop and deliver engaging learning solutions and programmes.
• Create learning experiences using face-to-face and digital methods.
• Build strong relationships across the business to understand priorities.
• Support leadership, behavioural and compliance learning initiatives.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness through feedback, data and learner insights.
• Use outcomes and business feedback to improve programmes.
• Promote inclusive and accessible learning opportunities for all colleagues.
• Support business change and capability-building initiatives.
• Ensure activities comply with governance, compliance and safety requirements.
• Manage workload to deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
