Job summary

Sysco is recruiting a Business Development Manager for home/field-based work around Oxford. You will hunt new independent clients, build strong relationships, tailor culinary propositions, and drive growth with uncapped bonus potential. A company car or car allowance and a home-based contract are available.

You will work with the Independent Sales Team, shaping the future of our business while delivering against targets and delivering value to customers across foodservice channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales or a commercial mindset is desirable.
• Ability to drive targets and deliver against growth objectives.
• Customer-centric approach with strong relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel across the Oxford area and work remotely when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win fresh independent business opportunities in the local market.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, moving them to closure.
• Tailor proposals to save clients time and money and hit profit targets.
• Support new clients and integrate them into Sysco with a smooth onboarding process.
