Sysco is recruiting a Business Development Manager for Plymouth, combining home-based and field-based work. You will hunt new independent business opportunities, build strong local connections, and tailor culinary propositions to help customers save time and money.

You’ll work with the Independent Sales Team to drive growth, hit targets, and receive uncapped bonuses along with a company car or car allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience in field or account sales is desirable.
• Ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

• Identify and pursue new independent business opportunities in the local market.
• Build relationships with independent operators and foodservice customers.
• Develop bespoke propositions to save customers time and money.
• Drive growth and hit profit targets with the sales team.
• Onboard new clients and support them with product knowledge.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity for informed solu­tions.
• Contribute to building a high-performing sales culture.
