Job summary

AG Barr is seeking a Business Development Representative to grow sales across Scotland. The role focuses on merchandising, increasing brand visibility, and protecting product availability through effective in-store displays and POS positioning.

The successful candidate will manage a 60-store territory, educate retailers on core brands, and collaborate on Take Home and Drink Now initiatives. Travel across Scotland and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience merchandising FMCG brands.
• Ability to work unsupervised and travel across Scotland.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Present brands via prepared presentations and secure commitments to increase share of shelf and local display.
• Complete admin for each completed call.
• Move stock manually in line with manual handling procedures.
• Position products in customers' chilled equipment for optimal visibility.
• Position products on ambient shelving for Take Home and display readiness.
• Place POS at key interruption points within stores.
• Activate local/regional displays and identify extra POI opportunities.
• Support Take Home and Drink Now projects in the given territory.
