Job summary

JLA Limited is seeking a Field-based Fire and Security Engineer to maintain safety systems, perform reactive maintenance, and support customers on-site. The role requires fault finding, strong customer service, and adherence to safety standards.

You will participate in an on-call rota and manage van stock to maximise first-time fixes. Responsibilities include completing risk assessments, adhering to H&S requirements, and coordinating with the compliance lead.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety systems and relevant BS standards.
• Ability to fault find and rectify faults on site.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance as per level 2 and respond to reactive calls at customer sites.
• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota.
• Manage van stock to achieve high first-fix rate and ensure stock control.
• Liaise with line manager on risk, safety, and compliance requirements.
