Job summary

JLA Limited in Bolton is seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to service field-based projects and maintain safety systems on-site at customer locations. The role covers reactive maintenance, on-call out-of-hours rotations, and ensuring high first-fix rates through effective van stock management.

You will work within a supportive team, follow safety regulations, and contribute to reliable service delivery with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of safety systems and relevant BS standards.
• Able to fault find and rectify faults on safety installations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance as per level 2 and phase 2 reactive calls to sites where customers have called in faulty systems (when senior guy is already on job).
• Part of the OOH call out rota.
• To carry enhanced van stock to achieve high 1st fix rate.
• Responsible for van stock in the same manner as level 1 and 2.
