Job summary

Maximus UK is recruiting Employment Specialists within supported employment. This field-based role will involve traveling across your local delivery area; a driving licence is essential.

You will support vulnerable adults to gain employment through the five stages of SEQF, work with employers, provide job coaching and on‑the‑job support, and help participants overcome barriers to sustainable work. Qualifications

• Familiarity with MS Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.
• Numeracy and literacy skills with experience of Quality Standards and KPIs.
• Creative problem solving skills.
• Experience of organising a workload and prioritising.
• Experience of people development in individuals or groups.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-management.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
• Genuine passion for empowering individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment.

Responsibilities

• Support a caseload through the five stages of Supported Employment, building rapport and representing the client’s interests.
• Develop vocational profiles and conduct job analyses to identify support needs and tailor interventions.
• Provide job-matching services by identifying suitable opportunities that match client skills and employer needs.
• Deliver one-to-one pre-employment support.
• Offer on-the-job support including coaching, workplace adjustments and mentoring.
• Provide benefits calculations and disclosure support.
• Meet and exceed KPI targets and ensure compliant data entry and documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders to advocate for caseloads and promote community integration.
