Job summary

Iceland Foods is seeking an Employee Relations and Engagement Specialist to advocate for the employment relationship across the business. The role is field-based with nationwide travel, driving engagement, wellbeing, D&I, and reward initiatives.

You will share best practice, ensure compliant policies, and participate in cross-functional projects while supporting tribunal matters and ER training across the group.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing commercial and legally sound advice on escalated ER matters.
• Experience in managing an Employment Tribunal caseload.
• Experience with Trade Unions and dispute resolution.
• Experience in creation and delivery of ER training.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Resilience and ability to influence.
• Analytical mindset and PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of ER guidance in line with policy and legislation.
• Collaborate with teams on Wellbeing, D&I, Reward and Employee Relations.
• Review policies for compliance with current legislation and strategy.
• Participate in cross-functional project work and BAU activities.
• Deliver ER training sessions to build capability.
• Support solicitors in managing tribunal claims and settlements.
• Provide on-site support for escalated ER issues across the estate.
