Job summary

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Based Commercial Boiler Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. You will be responsible for attending breakdowns, ensuring equipment is safe and operational, and providing a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial boilers.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS Card.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
• Good organisational, administrative and IT skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Flexible, approachable and able to work as part of a team.
• OFTEC or relevant gas engineering qualifications.
• Previous experience within the HVAC hire industry.
• MOD clearance and experience working on MOD sites.
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial boilers in line with RAMS.
• Carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance on customer sites.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
• Manage stock levels in vans and order parts as required.
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all relevant administration.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture.
