Job summary

Service Service is recruiting Commercial Boiler Burner Engineers to join a specialist engineering business providing service, maintenance and installation support to customers across industrial and commercial sectors. Roles span Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, North-East London or North Kent.

This field-based role involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, installation and commissioning of industrial combustion equipment and control systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service engineering role within industrial or commercial environments.
• Strong background in gas engineering, electrical systems or combustion equipment.
• Commercial gas qualifications: BMP1, CDGA1, CIGA1, COCN1, CONGLP1PD, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A.
• Experience with industrial burners, boilers, steam systems or combustion controls is advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair and commission industrial and commercial burner and combustion equipment.
• Diagnose faults across gas, oil and electrical systems.
• Work with combustion management controls, instrumentation and oxygen trim systems.
• Support customers across sectors including food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, power and aggregates.
• Provide planned and reactive on-site engineering support.
• Participate in an on-call rota once fully trained.
