Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer (CNC Machinery) based in Sheffield. You will receive full training, shadowing experienced engineers, and begin a long-term career supporting CNC milling machines across a regional patch.

Initially training, you will carry out preventive maintenance on CNC machinery, visiting sites within roughly 2 hours of Sheffield with some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience or qualifications.
• Interest in manufacturing machinery.
• Willing to work across a regional field patch.

Responsibilities

• Receive training at head office via shadowing.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance on CNC milling machines.
• Cover sites across a regional patch, with occasional overnight stays.
• Use company van; personal use allowed.
• Follow clear progression plans.
