Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to train in CNC machinery and embark on a field-based role across a regional patch, mainly within 2 hours of Manchester. You will begin with hands-on shadowing and short courses at head office to gain the necessary skills.

Once trained, you will carry out planned maintenance on CNC Milling Machines across multiple sites, with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Maintenance background with hands-on experience is essential.
• Desire to work on manufacturing machinery and service field.
• Willingness to travel across a regional patch and cover sites.

Responsibilities

• Receive training at head office and shadow experienced engineers.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance on CNC Milling Machines.
• Cover sites within a regional patch, occasional overnight stays.
• Operate company van for site visits and for personal use.
• Follow clear progression plans to advance within the business.
