Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a CNC Setter / Operator (Progression to Service Engineer) in Manchester with a regional patch. You will start by training and shadowing senior engineers, then perform PPMS on CNC Milling Machines across a regional area.

Longer term you will progress into maintenance in a field-based role, with a company van provided for personal use and a clear progression path across the business. Competitive salary: £32,000–£35,000 plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• CNC Setter / Operator or similar
• Wants to move into Maintenance
• Full Driving Licence - wants a field based role

Responsibilities

• Receive training at head office and shadowing experienced engineers before becoming an engineer
• Once trained, undertake planned preventative maintenance work on CNC Milling Machines
• Cover sites across a regional patch (usually within 2 hours but with some overnight stays)
• Company Van provided - can be used for personal use
