Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited, on behalf of a leading distributor of Machine Tools, is hiring a Junior Maintenance Engineer. You will receive full training in CNC machinery to build a long-term career within a nationwide service network.

Initially you shadow senior engineers and complete short courses at head office, then cover a regional patch performing PMs on CNC milling machines, mostly autonomously with some team support.

Qualifications

• Maintenance background with interest in CNC machinery.
• Willingness to train and upskill via courses and shadowing.
• Ideally willing to work across a regional patch.

Responsibilities

• Receive training at head office and shadow senior engineers before becoming an engineer.
• After training, perform planned preventative maintenance on CNC milling machines.
• Cover sites across a regional patch with occasional overnight stays.
• Utilise company van (personal use) for site travel.
