Job summary

STR Group Limited is recruiting an experienced Carpenter for a full-time permanent role in the Wiltshire area. You will perform carpentry repairs across our housing properties as part of the Responsive Repairs Team, with a company van and fuel card provided for travel.

The role involves 1st/2nd fix carpentry, window/door installation, UPVC work, locksmithing, fencing, and kitchen joinery. Travel is required and NVQ2 or 5+ years of carpentry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 5+ years proven carpentry experience required.
• Residential/housing sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all forms of carpentry repairs in properties as part of the Responsive Repairs Team.
• 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry; install windows, doors, frames (internal & external).
• UPVC servicing and installation; locksmithing including entry methods.
• Install/fix fencing: feather edge, chain link and panels; kitchen fitting and joinery.
