Job summary

A global leader in cable management and connectivity is seeking an Area Sales Engineer to drive business across the Midlands into the North West, Doncaster and Ipswich. The role centers on selling industrial cable management solutions with heavy field activity and strong partner collaboration.

You will predominantly engage end users, OEMs and machine builders, with regular travel to customer sites and partners to grow market share and solutions adoption.

Qualifications

• Technical field sales experience within the electrical field.
• Background in selling technical products to manufacturing OEMs and/or end users.
• Stable track record.
• Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop business across the Midlands region up to the North West, Doncaster and Ipswich.
• Sell a range of industrial cable management solutions to end users and OEMs.
• 80% of time in front of end users at the application end of the spectrum, driving demand.
• 20% with core distribution partners, upskilling them and conducting business reviews.
• Travel regularly as a field-based sales role focusing on automation, solar, electrical contractors, and panel builders.
