Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Field-based Business Development Manager to visit customers and sell medical and hazardous waste services from the Woodford branch. The role rewards a basic salary of £27,228 plus £1,000 London Weighting, with OTE £33–35k in the first year.

You will manage existing accounts and new opportunities, with daily travel and a strong focus on customer service and relationship-building.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Self-motivated and target-driven.
• Excellent problem solver.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Background in retail or sales is advantageous.
• May be required to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Visit new and existing customers to build relationships and sell medical and hazardous waste services.
• Work with an existing portfolio while generating new sales opportunities from enquiries and leads.
• Travel daily to customer sites and provide outstanding in-person service.
