Job summary

Greggs is seeking an experienced Area Manager to support and grow its franchise operations across Northern Scotland. You will collaborate with Contract Managers and site teams to drive operational excellence, ensure brand compliance, and help achieve sales and profitability targets while championing training and continuous improvement across multiple locations.

You will lead high-performing teams, conduct regular store visits and audits, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' management experience within a high-volume QSR environment (Greggs, McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, or similar).
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of food safety and compliance requirements.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with Greggs brand standards.
• Deliver Greggs training and development programmes.
• Coach and support Contract Managers to drive performance.
• Conduct regular site visits, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Work with site teams to improve standards.
