Job summary

Comex 2000 seeks a dedicated Cable Operative to join our Fibre Upgrade team across Scotland. You will be in a field role outdoors in all weather, and you must hold a valid UK driving licence with NRSWA accreditation. Training will be provided for required qualifications to support groundbreaking telecoms projects.

There is no fixed location for the role, so travel is required. We offer a competitive salary, pension, and heavily discounted Virgin Media products as part of our benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence.
• Full UK driving licence is required; additional categories are a bonus.
• Must hold NRSWA accreditation.
• Track rodding and roping experience reading MSDR drawings and labeling.
• Fibre blowing experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support Fibre Upgrade team on site across Scotland's central belt.
• Carry out cabling duties outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Prioritise, organise and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
