Job summary

GCU UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Cabling Supervisor to oversee fibre network builds in the Western Isles. The role includes travel across Scotland, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery while maintaining schedules and H&S compliance.

You will lead field operations, conduct audits, mentor engineers, and provide regular progress reports to the Line Manager in a fast-paced environment. Accommodation is provided while working away from home.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory, organisation and communication skills.
• Experience with Circet and Openreach processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations to keep sites safe, efficient and compliant.
• Conduct site and team audits to monitor performance and quality.
• Oversee health and safety requirements and provide guidance to engineers on-site issues.
• Track progress and capture completion photos, reporting to the Line Manager.
