Job summary

Morris & Spottiswood in Livingston, Scotland, is seeking an experienced Fibre Engineer to join our Fibre/Data Division. You will install, terminate and test fibre optic cables and work to current regulations. The role requires hands-on ability, a valid UK driving licence, and safety certifications (Passport to Safety/ECS/CSCS).

On-site training will be provided where required. You will be a strong team player with a proactive attitude, capable of working safely at height and outdoors, across UK

Qualifications

Passport to Safety/ECS/CSCS card.
Experienced in splicing and testing fibre optics.
On-site training and certification will be provided where relevant.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate and test internal and external fibre optic cable.
Perform OTDR, power source and light meter testing.
Pull fibre optic cables into cable management systems.
Build and install FO termination boxes and enclosures.
