Gravity Media Group is looking for a site-based fibre technician to support our Outside Broadcast operations worldwide, primarily based near High Wycombe, with travel to live events. You will splice, test, and protect fibre cables, operate fusion splicing equipment and testing gear, and collaborate with rigging teams to ensure high workmanship and reliability in fast-paced, live-event environments.

The role will be predominantly site-based, supporting our Outside Broadcast operation at locations across the globe. You will work closely with our rigging teams on site – with a predominance towards supporting the European Tour Golf contract – including occasional requirements to work from our premises inHigh Wycombe. Working on site is fast-paced and requires a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, strong timekeeping, and a consistently high standard of workmanship.

Weekly hours: 240 days per year, variable working hours. On site work

Working independently or as part of a team, you will ensure all fibre cables are expertly spliced, tested, fully operational, and ready for use across a variety of projects. This includes but is not limited to:-
