Fibre Networking Solutions Ltd in Yeovil is seeking a qualified Fibre Tester and Splicer to join our growing installation team. You will test and splice fibre optic cables across regional networks, often working independently in varying weather conditions.

Training will be provided to align with our procedures, and a company vehicle is provided. The role requires a full, clean driving licence held for at least two years, plus relevant certifications such as NRSWA Unit 2, SA001/SA002, K008, NO27,

Competenze

• Full clean driving licence held for at least two years.
• Experience with testing and splicing fibre optic cables.
• Ability to work independently on-site and in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to train and adapt to company procedures.

Mansioni

• Test existing fibre connections or splice distribution points into the spine route.
• Arrive on site, perform risk assessment, and set up the site safely with signage and safety boards.
• Work with other teams on CBT installation, surveying or blowing fibre when required.

Qualified Fibre Tester and Splicer - Yeovil

This is your chance to join the splicing team for a rapidly expanding Fibre networking company (Fibre Networking Solutions Ltd) with big growth ambitions. It’s a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and competent fibre optic splicer who completes work to the highest quality.

You will be part of an installation team connecting and testing fibre optic cables across the regional networks.

We are looking for someone to hit the ground running but understand that some training will be required to adapt to our way of working.

As a Fibre Engineer, you will be working a lot on your own in all weather conditions, it is therefore imperative that you hold a full clean driving licence and have held this for at least two years.

You will arrive on site, complete a risk assessment and set the site up safely using relevant signage and courtesy boards. Dependant on the tasks set you will either be testing existing connections or splicing distribution points into the spine route.

We are looking for a team player still though as sometimes we may ask you to work with other teams where needed, installing CBTs, surveying or blowing fibre.
