Lift Schools is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning and wellbeing, helping every student access the curriculum and develop confidence.
You will work with teachers to plan and assess lessons, support SEND needs, and build strong relationships with pupils, parents and other staff. A clear development pathway includes Level 3 TA qualification and apprenticeships leading to teacher training opportunities.

As a Teaching Assistant at Lift Schools, you'll work closely with teachers to support students' learning and wellbeing. You'll help create a classroom where every child feels valued and included. This role is vital in ensuring our students can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a real sense of achievement.
We offer a clear pathway for your career. If you work 20 hours or more per week and don't already hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, we'll support you to gain one. Want to progress further? We also offer Level 5 Teaching Assistant apprenticeships and Initial Teacher Training opportunities.
You'll have GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, or be willing to work towards functional skills qualifications. Good communication skills are important, and so is patience and empathy when working with students. Do you enjoy working with young people and helping them succeed?
