The Education Network Birmingham is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support students with SEN in KS4/KS5 across class, small group and 1-2-1 settings, helping learners access learning and build independence.
The role includes assisting with careers and work experience placements, visiting placements, communicating with employers and contributing to safeguarding, with a full driving licence required to travel between sites.

This specialist school is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join its supportive team, helping students with a range of learning needs to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
This is a varied role where you will work across whole-class, small-group and 1-2-1 settings, adapting your approach to help students regulate, engage with learning and develop their independence. You will play an important role in supporting students' social and emotional development while contributing to their individual EHCP outcomes.
A key part of the role will also involve supporting students with careers and work experience. You will help KS4 and KS5 students explore potential placements, visit students during work experience, communicate with employers and contribute to careers meetings and placement reviews. Being able to drive is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and nurturing Teaching Assistant who is able to build strong professional relationships with young people and adapt their approach according to individual needs.
