Job summary

Russell Taylor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (FF&E) to support procurement, coordination and delivery of furniture, fixtures and equipment for learning environments across the UK. You will help manage projects from design handover to installation, coordinating designers, suppliers and installation teams to ensure programme, budget and quality targets are met.

The role requires strong organisation, commercial awareness and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Experience of projects management or project coordination.
• Experience in FF&E or fit-out projects preferred.
• Willing to attend regular site visits across the UK.
• Experience interpreting design drawings, specifications and finish schedules.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple live projects.
• Experience producing and managing RAMS.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full FF&E project lifecycle from procurement to installation and handover.
• Attend regular site meetings coordinating suppliers, contractors, installation teams and clients.
• Develop project programmes, budgets and progress reports.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value while maintaining design quality.
• Manage project risks, resolve issues and protect commercial performance.
• Support site activities, quality inspections and final snagging.
• Ensure all project documentation, health & safety requirements and compliance standards are maintained.
