Job summary

Russell Taylor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (FF&E) to support procurement, coordination and delivery of furniture, fixtures and equipment for learning environments across the UK. You will help manage projects from design handover to installation, coordinating designers, suppliers and installation teams to ensure programme, budget and quality targets are met.

The role requires strong organisation, commercial awareness and proactive communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience of projects management or project coordination.
  • Experience in FF&E or fit-out projects preferred.
  • Willing to attend regular site visits across the UK.
  • Experience interpreting design drawings, specifications and finish schedules.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple live projects.
  • Experience producing and managing RAMS.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative and fast-growing design and fit-out specialist delivering inspiring learning and commercial environments across the UK. We're looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator (FF&E) to support the procurement, coordination and delivery of high-quality furniture, fixtures and equipment for bespoke learning environments.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, working with designers, suppliers and installation teams, and taking pride in helping to deliver highly rewarding projects.

The Role

You’ll help to manage projects from design handover through to final installation, ensuring programmes, budgets and quality standards are achieved every step of the way.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full FF&E project lifecycle from procurement to installation and handover.
  • Attend regular site meetings - coordinating suppliers, contractors, installation teams and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets and progress reports.
  • Negotiating with suppliers to achieve best value whilst maintaining design quality.

About You

You’ll be a well organised, commercially aware project professional with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience of projects management or project coordination within a construction environment.
  • Experience of FF&E or fit-out projects would be preferred,
  • Must have the flexibility and enthusiasm to attend regular site visits to support projects throughout the UK.
  • Experience interpreting design drawings, specifications and finish schedules.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
  • Experience producing and managing RAMS.
  • Full UK driving license
