From its humble beginnings, set up by four horror enthusiasts, FrightFest is now the UK’s top international horror and genre film festival. Spanning five days of fantasy over the August bank holiday weekend (August 21 to 25), entertaining thousands of genre fans in the heart of London, Leicester Square.

We are looking to recruit a team of dedicated volunteers who areconfident and calm under pressure, enthusiastic about delivering agreat festival experience, and not fazed by working to a busy schedule in a crowded environment. Responsibilities include ushering, ticket scanning, box office, media wall, merch desk, and generally being on hand to answer any questions the public may have.

You get the chance to gain experience of how an event operates, watch films, and enjoy a friendly, supportive atmosphere. We offer a small paid allowance after three 8-hour shifts have been completed.
