Job summary

Avenues Group is hiring Female Support Workers in Tunbridge Wells to support adults with learning disabilities and related needs in a supported living setting. You will promote independence, participate in community activities, and drive service vehicles as needed.

A full UK driving licence is essential, with training provided. This full-time, on-site role offers a pro rata salary of £25,845 per year and a comprehensive benefits package including funded training and career progression

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
• Willingness to drive the service vehicles.
• No Experience? No Problem.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity and respect
• Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life
• Assist with cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a home
• Support people to build and maintain relationships with family and friends
• Provide respectful, person-centred personal care where required
• Drive the service vehicles to support people to attend appointments and access their community
• Promote positive outcomes by following individual support plans and celebrating achievements every day
