Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group is seeking a Female Support Worker in Tunbridge Wells. This full-time role offers £25,845 per annum (pro rata) and involves supporting adults with learning disabilities and related needs in a supported living setting.

You will help individuals develop independence, participate in community activities, and maintain daily living tasks. A full UK driving licence is essential as you will drive service vehicles.

Qualifications

• No experience required — compassionate and eager to learn.
• Fully funded training including Health and Social Care qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live independently while promoting choice, dignity and respect.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life.
• Assist with cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a home.
• Support people to build and maintain relationships with family and friends.
• Provide respectful, person-centred personal care where required.
• Drive service vehicles to attend appointments and access the community.
• Follow individual support plans and celebrate achievements daily.
