The Avenues Trust Group in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism and other needs in a supported living setting. You will help develop independence and participate in community activities, with driving duties for service vehicles where needed.

Full-time opportunities available; salary £25,845 per annum (pro rata). Training is provided, and a positive, compassionate approach is essential to support individuals to live fulfilling

Qualifications

• Support adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical or mental health needs.
• Be willing to drive service vehicles and hold a full UK driving licence.
• No prior care experience required; training provided.

• Assist with cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a home.
• Support people to build and maintain relationships with family and friends.

Shifts are between 7:30am and 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday, including extended day shifts.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, and you must be willing to drive the service vehicles.

About the Role

We're looking for caring and enthusiastic Female Support Workers to join our friendly team in Tunbridge Wells, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours of concern within a supported living service.

You’ll play a vital role in supporting people to develop their independence, achieve their goals and enjoy active, fulfilling lives.

The people we support love spending time in their local community. From walks in the park and swimming to bowling, shopping trips, cafés and restaurants, you’ll be supporting them to enjoy the activities that matter most to them. Because of this, you’ll need to hold a full UK driving licence and be happy driving the service vehicles.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, but you’ll:

• Support people to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity and respect
