Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Female Support Worker for Woodlands, a residential care home in Acocks Green, Birmingham, to support up to six adults with autism and mental health needs. Due to a genuine occupational requirement, applicants must be female and over 18.

You will contribute to day-to-day care, promote independence, assist with health care including appointments and medications, teach life skills, support personal care and domestic tasks, and provide empathetic guidance.

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.

• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
