Job summary

Midway Care Group in Coventry is recruiting two full-time Female Support Workers (Days) to support adults with learning disabilities.

You will help with daily living skills, meet individual needs, build relationships with service users and the local community, and follow care plans. Hours are 35 per week at £12.71 per hour, with funded training, BUPA 24/7 EAP and travel expenses for first day induction across Acocks Green.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with people and make a difference.
• Experience in caring or willingness to care for people.
• Fully flexible with weekday and weekend availability.
• Willing to help with personal care.
• Interest in funded qualifications to develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Identify and meet the needs of those in care.
• Develop and maintain relationships with people, team members and the local community.
• Encourage choices in line with rights of people with learning disabilities.
• Participate in defined care plans and promote active daily living.
