Job summary

Priority Recruitment is seeking a Female Support Worker in Tonbridge, Kent, to care for a female client with cerebral palsy and other complex needs. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 7am–7pm, with driving required for community activities.

Experience with PEG feeding and respiratory care is advantageous. DBS fees are reimbursed, and the role offers weekly pay and a refer-a-friend scheme. You’ll work in a private home to support quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Previous experience in private client homes, PEG feeding, respiratory care and seizure management would be advantageous.
• Able to commit to 2 x 12 hour shifts per week to provide familiar and consistent care.
• Female support worker is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Look after a female living in her own home with complex needs, providing personal care and support.
• Assist with PEG feeds, suctioning and therapy-support tasks as required.
• Help the client participate in activities and community outings as directed.

Client and Role

• Our client lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and other co-current complex conditions requiring full personal care, PEG feeds, suctioning and therapy support


• Our client lives in a fully adapted home with all equipment provided for the role


• Our client enjoys various activities such as sensory input, library, swimming , music therapy

Successful Applicant

• Must hold a full and valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle, as the role involves driving the client into the community for various activities


• Previous experience working in private client homes, PEG feeding, respiratory care and seizure management would be advantageous


• Able to commit to 2 x 12 hour shifts per week to give our client familiarity and routine


• Female support worker is required for this role.
