Job summary

Priority Recruitment is seeking a Female Support Worker in Tonbridge, Kent for a part-time role (24 hours per week) with dayshift 7am–7pm, paying £17.00 PAYE plus holiday pay. The role involves caring for a female client with complex needs in her home.

You should have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle, as you will transport the client to activities in the community. Experience with PEG feeding, respiratory care and seizure management is advantageous; DBS fees are reimbursed, and

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care to the client.
• Assist with PEG feeding and suctioning as required.
• Support the client with daily activities and community outings.

This is an excellent opportunity looking after a female living in her own home. Our client lives with multiple complex needs.

We are searching for an experienced complex care Support Worker who is looking for a long term position allowing clients to have a fulfilled quality of life.

Client and Role

• Our client lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and other co-current complex conditions requiring full personal care, PEG feeds, suctioning and therapy support
• Our client lives in a fully adapted home with all equipment provided for the role
• Our client enjoys various activities such as sensory input, library, swimming , music therapy

Successful Applicant

• Must hold a full and valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle, as the role involves driving the client into the community for various activities
• Previous experience working in private client homes, PEG feeding, respiratory care and seizure management would be advantageous
• Able to commit to 2 x 12 hour shifts per week to give our client familiarity and routine
• Female support worker is required for this role.
