Job summary

Field Lane is a charity in Reigate, Surrey, seeking a female Senior Care and Support Worker to support adults with learning disabilities in the community.

You will work with a dedicated team to deliver person-centered care, assist with daily living, maintain records, uphold safeguarding, and participate in training and development.

Applicants must have NVQ Level 2 in Care or be willing to complete, be a driver with a full licence, and be able to work with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete).
  • Ideally, 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Caring, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, cheerful, and professional in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to high standards and person-centered support.
  • Must be a driver with a Full Driving Licence and use of own vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes, laundry, and housekeeping.
  • Promote inclusion, dignity, and independence for every client.

  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies.
  • Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing development.

We’re looking for a female Senior Care and Support Worker to join our community-based service in Reigate, Surrey, the person needs to have enthusiasm for bikes and outdoor activities. We support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently within their own homes or with family.

Our support workers spend meaningful time with the people they support, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of what we do, as the connection between a client and their support worker is key to achieving positive outcomes.

As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you’ll:
