Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a Female Support Worker at our Newbury respite location (RG19). This full-time role involves providing personal care, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs, and promoting independence. There are 37.5 hours weekly with 7:00–2:30, 2:30–10:00 shifts and paid sleep-ins (£50 each).

A full UK driving licence is required. Training is provided. We offer competitive pay (£12.81/hour + £50 sleep-ins), plus benefits and opportunities for progression.

Female Support Worker – Newbury (RG19)

Location: Newbury (RG19)
Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
Pay: £12.81 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift
Driver Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Gender Requirement: Female applicants only (GOR applies)

About the role

Join our friendly team at our respite homein Newbury (RG19), supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs during short breaks – from weekends to longer stays. Every day is different, giving you the chance to make a real difference and help people feel valued, safe, and empowered.

Your role will include:
  • Personal care and daily living support

Shift Patterns
  • 7:00am – 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm – 10:00pm
  • Sleep-in: 10:00pm – 7:0am (£50 paid per sleep-in)
    Weekend work is essential.
    Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
