Job summary

Real Life Options in Elgin is seeking a Female Support Worker to help people live independently with choices and control over their support. You will provide physical and emotional support, promote social connections and encourage development of daily living skills.

This role requires a full UK driving licence and offers 30 hours per week with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. The service operates 24 hours, with shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Female Support Worker

Location: Elgin
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week)

Must be a driver with full UK license

About the role:

You will be able to help people you support to live the life they want, ensuring they have choices and control over the planning and delivery of their support. You will enable them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support, along with encouraging them to develop positive relationships socially. You will be working with individuals both at home and withinthecommunity.

Due to the nature of the role, this position is open to female applicants only (in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Promoting independence and decision making
• Facilitating family contact and social relationships
• Personal care including bathing and showering.

Shifts & Hours

You will need to be flexible as we are a 24-hour service, so shifts vary and include days, evenings and weekends.

Additional Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• PVG Membership (Adult): An Enhanced PVG check will be required.
• Shadow shiftswill be completed before fully starting, tailored to your experience level.
